Brand Identity, Type design

London Kills is a crime drama commissioned and shot by PGMTV. The brief was for a strong, modern and robust logo / typeface with a longevity which translates well to international audiences.

The design is a strong, confident, classic, timeless flat-sided sans serifs, with a handful of quirky characteristics to enhance the visual aesthetics.

The K borrows traits from a geometric sans, and the diagonal spine on the ‘S’ is straightened to convey a more robust aesthetic. (A visual element borrowed from my designs for the typeface Suspects Sans- a typeface commissioned by PGMTV).

London Kills is broadcast by Acorn TV (US), and the BBC (UK).
