Battle Royal

Brand Identity, Photography

Battle Royal is a Flatland BMX battle event which takes place at the Royal Albert Hall. On this project I was briefed with the Brand identity and Photography.

One of the goals of this project was to re-shoot a pre-digital photo I had shot of Jason Forde. The photo was taken with a Canon A1 film SLR, Flash sych1/60th, an off shoe flash, no light meter and Fuji Sensia slide film.

Canon EOS350D DSLR, Flash sych1/200th, 2 Nikon SB28 slave flashes, Pocket wizard and no lens hood for natural lens flares.

A central aligmnet and a Didone style typeface is used in conjunction with the 1 wheel motion logo to achieve an elegant, modern and simple look
